QUALITATIVE CAPITAL REBRANDING
Deep Interactive rebranded the image and identity of Qualitative Capital by using 1950s and 1960s illustrations as inspiration. With the market slowly shifting back to the 60′s era, the pairing only seemed fit.
objective:
To rebrand the identity of Qualitative Capital by using the 1960′s era [think "Mad Men"] to set themselves apart from other competitors. The concept of the financial industry going back to the ways of the 1960′s was a true driving force.
solution:
QUALITATIVE CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, inc. is a Trading Advisory firm registered with the National Futures Association and regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The firm manages identical trading strategies across multiple investor accounts.
Deep Interactive knows that most firms in the financial industry seem to be very black and white, in terms of design. Most are unbearably boring and stale. The idea was to add sophistication and personableness since the firm is a small shop. So, immediately, our brains went to Mad Men and the culture that surrounded the workplace – demeanor, dress, communication, etc. The principal of Qualitative Capital truly believes that the market is now going back to how it was run in the past. A blue color palette was chosen for trust and strength. We used images of what commodities Qualitative Capital trades. Unlike other trading firms, these commodities are very specific to Qualitative Capital and who they are. There is no doubt in what Qualitative Capital does/trades. Deep kept the logo simple and to- the-point, which is what this industry asks for. This project was hugely successful due in part to the dedication of the client in the entire creative process.
